Registered Student Organization (RSO) Transition Week has evolved into both a virtual and in-person environment to make it easily accessible for clubs to complete. The tasks are designed to be completed at your own pace during Transition Week. There will be reflection quizzes to ensure that you are getting the most out of your sessions. You will have to complete the tasks during RSO Transition Week (April 11–18) to be considered for the incentives. Below are the seven tasks that, as a representative of a registered student organization, you need to complete to earn the incentives. There are two mandatory steps (as noted) for all clubs to be considered registered student organizations.
The incentives are generously sponsored by the Student Government Association. To be considered for the monetary incentive, these tasks must be completed by Monday, April 18, 2022, at noon. The online forms and quiz links will be available Monday, April 11, 2022, beginning at 8:00 a.m. through Monday, April 18, 2022, at noon
RSO Incentive breakdown
- 3 out of 7: $50 toward pizza
- 5 out of 7: up to $200 for a tablecloth (if the student organization already has a tablecloth, it can be used for any promotional materials)
- 7 out of 7: both $50 toward pizza and $200 for tablecloth/promotional material
Task List
Connect Re-registration
Re-register your organization on Connect by providing new officers, an updated roster, an updated constitution, and your agreement to terms and conditions. This is important to ensure that we have the correct contact information for RSOs over the summer. This task is required if you are only completing three out of the five tasks for the monetary incentive. Please confirm connect re-registration on this form.
Connect/Social Media Post
It's time to start thinking about recruitment! Your RSO team needs to create two posts to post on your Connect or club social media. You will need to include your organization's name and mission. Showcase what you do! You could include testimonies from current members, photos from events, and officer spotlights. Be creative. Have fun. Make the best sales pitch you can on behalf of your RSO! This will be a great recruitment tool to use for the next semester. You will submit your content creation on this form.
Incoming Leaders Session (This counts as two steps)

The leadership guide provides tips and suggestions for taking on new leadership roles. Along with the retention and recruitment tips, there is a follow-up quiz for the RSO member who completes this.
